Inspiration that changes lives!
Inspiration that changes lives!
Recently, the Doctricks team had the privilege of attending a charity motivational lecture organized by Uppsala Stadsmission featuring the incredible Petra Malm.
Petra is a truly unique figure in Sweden’s history. She was the first woman to successfully pass one of the toughest selection processes and become a member of Särskilda operationsgruppen (SOG) – the Swedish Special Forces. With over a decade of military service within Swedish Armed Forces and numerous classified missions, including operations in Afghanistan, her story is nothing else than remarkable.
Today, Petra inspires people to discover their dreams, set ambitious goals, and pursue them with courage.
During this event, we gained not only a powerful life story but also practical tools for overcoming fears and achieving goals. Here are some key takeaways:
– What goals do we avoid just because we’re afraid?
Fear is a poor advisor. Say YES to change!
– The best way to fight fear is preparation through small steps.
Every little step reduces anxiety and brings you closer to your goal.
– Sometimes, you need to step back and see the bigger picture.
Looking at how far you’ve come can be the best motivation you need to keep going and never give up.
We are deeply grateful to Uppsala Stadsmission for organizing this evening. It feels amazing not only to gain inspiration for our own lives but also to know that our participation contributes to a greater cause — supporting those in need.
