The Impact of Gender Diversity

As we conclude this series, we share another perspective from our team. What benefits do you think gender diversity brings to teams?

Petrus Näslund, Founder of Doctricks:

» – Why do I think gender diversity in tech matter? Because it’s not just about fairness—it’s about creating better solutions. When you bring different perspectives into the room, you get smarter ideas, stronger collaboration, and products that serve more people.

Diverse teams don’t just work better—they innovate faster. People who feel valued contribute more, stay longer, and solve problems creatively. And in a client-facing business, diversity helps you connect with a broader audience.

For me, running a business means building an environment where the best ideas win—because everyone has a seat at the table. »

Doctricks wishes all women a Happy International Women’s Day!

We wish you inspiration, ambition, and the strength to achieve any goal! May your journey be filled with opportunities, support, and exciting challenges.

Different perspectives, experiences, and approaches make companies more flexible, creative, and successful. The tech industry is evolving, and more women are shaping its future every day.

To celebrate this, we are asking the men in our team why they believe diversity in tech matters and how they see the future of the industry.

What do you think the IT industry will look like in 10 years? Will it become more gender-balanced?

Varun Vimala Gangadharan, Tech Lead Doctricks:

–  The tech industry, historically male-dominated, is increasingly prioritizing diversity and inclusion.

Expanding opportunities for women—from trainee programs to leadership roles—helps address biases and create a more balanced workforce.

Ongoing efforts, including mentorship and leadership programs, are paving the way for a more inclusive and innovative future in IT.

Have you ever had a female mentor in your career? If so, what did you learn from her?

Nicolas Blanluet Project Manager:

– I have had the chance to be mentored by female mentors. Having female mentors across different organizations has given me valuable insights into planning, problem-solving, and thinking beyond limits.

I admire their ability to listen, collaborate, and lead with clear objectives and ambition.

Their support has helped me grow, stay curious, and gain confidence in my work.

I believe these qualities are essential in any leader, regardless of gender.
